The university is looking for students who are enthusiastic, outgoing and have good communication skills to help with prospective and new students during the month of September.
Becoming a Student Ambassador will give you the opportunity to develop a variety of skills, enhance your CV and earn money at the same time.
During September we have our main undergraduate Open Day which can attract up to 6000 prospective students on campus, we also have our induction events and orientation events aimed at new students. Duties will be varied but can include conducting campus tours, helping direct students and being on hand to answer any university related question about being a student at the university. Full training is given and you must be available to attend one of the training days mentioned on the attached form.
You will be paid £6.50 per hour for any work carried out.
This is initially for events during September but opportunities may continue throughout the year.
If you wish to apply to be an ambassador please complete the attached form and email it to [email protected]. Any questions about the positions should be sent to this email address.
