Pakistani Students Society

The Pakistani Students Society hopes to bring together all Pakistani students at Glasgow Caledonian University. Our purpose will be to celebrate the traditional and cultural norms of Pakistani life and to provide assistance of any sort to all of our members.

We also wish to expose students of non Pakistani origin to Pakistani culture, so that they may be able to learn about and also experience it to some extent.

We hope that this in turn will give Pakistani students an ideal opportunity to interact or socialise with students of all races, religions and backgrounds.

We wish to make this society the pride of every individual at Glasgow Caledonian University by creating a positive image of our society and Pakistan.

The Society firmly believes in the importance of promoting, preserving and celebrating Pakistan's gloriously rich cultural life, seeking to give as many people as possible a taste of all it has to offer to the world.

What are our society’s aims?

1. To represent the Pakistani students and staff at Glasgow Caledonian University.

2. To celebrate the culture of Pakistan at Glasgow Caledonian University.

3. To provide a platform for discussions related to issues relevant to Pakistan.

 4. To contribute to the general welfare of the university.

5. To serve as a meeting point between Pakistan and the UK and Pakistani community.

6. To arrange frequent cultural events and talks by well known and influential figures.

7. To simply hang out and have fun.
