Caledonian Conference '08 is Glasgow Caledonian University's first ever Class Representative Conference. It is a one-day event (10am to 4pm) being held on campus on Tuesday 15th April, specifically for Class Reps and has been organised jointly between the Students' Association and the University.

The event will be an opportunity to:

=>   Meet more Class Reps and share experiences
=>   Find out a little more about what's already happening at your University
=>   Tell us what you think about your experience, new technologies and lots more

All Class Reps are invited to attend and the Principal has agreed to excuse Class Reps from their classes for the day in order to attend.

As a Class Rep, you form part of a community of over 500 Class Reps on campus, working on things that affect students most throughout their studies. Caledonian Conference '08 is a unique opportunity to make a direct and immediate impact on the way your University is run and how you and your class-mates are taught.

President’s Message

Hello and welcome to the Caledonian Conference ‘08 website. The Students’ Association and the University have joined forces to organise this event and I for one am excited about the potential it has to really make an impact at Glasgow Caledonian University.

Jordan - GCUSA President

The Conference provides Class Reps with a fantastic opportunity to find out a little more about what’s already happening, what could happen in the future and what you would like to see happening right now at your University.

We have had a great response from a whole range of University departments in setting up this Conference. Thanks to this partnership, I’m sure you will find a massive amount of new developments and ideas to bring back to your class and your lecturers which will help make your learning experience, your course and your University even better.

I look forward to seeing as many Class Reps as we can squeeze in a room on the 15th of April for Glasgow Caledonian University’s first ever Class Rep Conference.

Jordan Martindale

President
