Class Reps form the largest part of the representation and 'Quality' processes at Glasgow Caledonian University. In order to help you understand how these processes work, what role you play in them and where to find help and support, GCUSA (in conjunction with sparqs) have developed training sessions to help you fulfil your role as a Class Rep

By the end of this session you will be able to:

• Explain what is meant by 'Quality' and where it takes place
• Explain the role of a Class Rep
• Explain the structure of GCUSA and how you fit in
• Communicate effectively with your class mates
• Communicate effectively with your lecturers
• Understand what an SSCG is and how it works
• Understand how negotiation takes place within the representative structure
