About C-Card
C-Card is a service in Glasgow offering you free access to a range of free condoms with mimimum embarrassment. Condoms are important as they can help prevent you catching or passing on a STI as well as unintended pregnancies.
How does it work? All you need to do to get the free conoms is register in the Welfare Department and you will be issued with a card that allows you to pick up your condoms from us as and when you need them. There are also other registration and distribution points throughout Glasgow.
How do I register? Come along to the Welfare Department on the first floor of the Students' Association (North Hanover Street builfing). The only information you will be asked to supply will be your date of birth and the first part of your postcode. This information is for monitoring purposes and will not be used in any other way or passed to anyone other than the C-Card co-ordinator. You can also have the opportunity to have a private and confidential chat about any condom, sexual health or relationship issues, if it would be helpful.
Once you have registered you can access the free condoms by showing your C-Card. You will be shown a selection card to pick the kind of condom you are looking for. As well as using your C-Card in the Welfare Department you can also go along to any of the other distribution sites throughout Glasgow.
