FRESHERS WEEK 2008

Welcome to Glasgow Caledonian University and the Students' Association.

Freshers Week is week 1 of Semester A and it's a chance to get get to know what your Students' Association can offer you.

During registration and freshers week we organise various day and evening events to keep you entertained. It's a good time to have a look around, familiarise yourself with the landscape of the University and the town, find the best pubs for all moods, the best clubs to suit, where to Eat In and Take Away and experience a true sense of freedom.

Now find out all about us at the Getting Involved Fayre. Come along to the Getting Involved fayre and pick up a floor plan, wander around in a daze and join societies, sign up for sports clubs, become a volunteer. Most importantly get involved! It's a great chance to make friends and get involved in the University community.

Come along to the Freshers Festival. There are lots of companies, local bars and clubs loitering around trying to sign you up for a variety of schemes, from insurers, banks and travel agents through to pubs and clubs and all manner of other groups whom you can sell your soul for year-long discounts (usually well worth it!). You can usually pick up some free goodies too.
