Employability is a term in increasingly common use, especially in relation to students and graduates. It is important to see the difference between employability and employment. Employment refers to having a job, whilst employability, or being employable, refers to the qualities needed to maintain employment and progress in the workplace. (Lees, 2002)
It is important to reflect and actually realise how you are improving your skills by being involved in GCUSA activities. Employers need to know and have clear examples of how you have improved your skills. Here are some key skills employers are looking for:

Being involved in GCUSA activities gives you the chance to make new friends outside of your course. All GCUSA activities give you the opportunities to attend socials and have fun (we hope!) as well as playing at part in the University Community.
