► Hockey Women’s

With 2 strong teams, GCU women’s hockey is growing from strength to strength! The club hopes to build on last year’s success with 2 teams playing in the university leagues (BUCS) on Wednesday afternoons and a Saturday team playing in the West District Scottish League. Training is aimed at all levels from beginners upwards, with a qualified coach taking a mixture of fitness, skills and game sessions. As well as keeping fit, hockey is a great way to meet lots of new friends at uni! The club has an awesome social scene with regular nights out, the Sports Ball & End of Season Dinners!! Kelvinside Academy (Balgray) Playing Fields are just off Great Western Road at 40 Chesterfield Avenue, G12 0BL: jump on a No 20 bus from Hope St.
