The swimming club is open to everyone...from those who have lots of experience to those who are new to the pool. Competition swimming at GCU is all about having fun; the competitions are open to those who are serious in the sport but also to those who are new to the sport. The club is involved in the Scottish Universities leagues which involves galas most Wednesday nights. The two annual Scottish universities competitions are good fun and involve fancy dress and black tie events. So if you fancy getting fit, socialising and don't mind getting your feet wet then come along. For training on a Monday & Thursday meet at 7:30pm outside the minibus cage at Caley court; costs £1 per session. Also, the No 45 bus takes you almost straight to Springburn swimming pool, from North Hanover Street to Springburn shopping centre, then a 2 minutes walk to the swimming pool.
